I want to thank you for getting rid of the bilingual education program in California - mind you that I am Latin American, Spanish, speaking, differential grubbing bilingual teacher with the Los Angeles School District. However, I have seen, first hand, the failure of this program and the damage which generations of children have suffered and will continue to suffer until there is English immersion from the child's first day of school.

The fight is not over. Please do not abandon the children.
