To the Editor: As a concerned resident of California, I want to bring up my opinion about the decision to cease the teaching of bilingual classes. For me, having the biligual classes will just give the student a perplexcity in understanding their subjects. We want our children to learned not to be buffled because of the languages they speak. So to put an end for this, I think it is better to have the English language as a medium of instruction to all schools in the State of California. I guarantee that if they keep their children in the bilingual classes, they will be missing a lot from their education. Teachers should be responsible for the students to learn English language and if they think putting them in the bilingual class is the right thing to do. They are WRONG!!! They are just putting a restriction to the children learning capabilities. I hope people will realize to what is wrong in our teaching system.
