Dear Desert Sun Editor. I am a student in Center for Employment Training. I read you article in the Desert Sun Newspaper concerning to take out bilingual classes from schools. I think that its hard to decide weather its a good idea or a bad idea, It probably have advantages or disadvantages Why? Good because children could practice more there English in school wile they could learn Spanish at home. But what about for example: If a child comes from Mexico not knowing a single word in English what going to happen with him it probably would confuse him more an not learn eater language. Me I whas in bilingual classes for several years, and yes it did affect me ollot, I dint practice enough to speak enlglish so I think that it would be better to put there kinds in English class. Being bilingual its very important to succeed not only here in California, but in many different places. Bilingual classes should improve allot more the problem for bilingual classes are that children don't learn any language, Probably because its hard for them trying to learn both languages at the same time. Personally, It think that its a good idea taking out bilingual classes for school because, children would be more encourage more, to talk in English. But not all people agree with me, they say that there children are learning more fast being in a bilingual classes that regular class I think that it depends on each people.
