Juan Ulloa October 22, 1997 My opinion of this classroom is, that it's a fun place to learn but also serious when it has to. I mean fun because, the people inside are nice they try to show you the way around the class on your first day so you won't feel left out. Some students that are further in the program sometimes help the other students that have just arrive by trying to show them the little more they know. I pretty much heard the same things that I'm seeing inside the classroom, they told me that it does work, and you do learn job training skills the time you are in this program. Also that they do try to provide you with an office job after you finish the training course. The book that I'm working on right now is the Intergrading Keyboarding, and Communicating Skills book which is the book I enjoyed the most because it makes you look for the answers. By doing that you try to memorize the short story the first time you read it an practice typing it so you won't have to go back and read it all over again. The book I least liked in this course is the math book, because I have never liked working with numbers not even in school. It's not because I don't know math it's just I don't like dealing with solving the problems. Only because I don't like math it dosen't mean it's not a good book, I think it helps people learn a lot about math and shows them how to work a 10-key calculater along with many other office skills that are going to help them with their office job in the future. I really don't think we should change nothing in this classroom, it operates fairly good everyday, everyone learns as the days go by a little more about the job skills they need to make it easier for them to get the job their looking for. But I do agree on the no Spanish talking rule in the classroom, because it's going to help those people in the class that really need to learn how to speak an write English. |
